We've got three characters: Sheldon, Maggie and Ed, who never goes by Edward. Three writers will collaborate one at a time on a short story.
Directions:
First Writer: Choose one of the characters and begin a story. Start with a hook. Establish some sort of dramatic tension/conflict. Write for 13 minutes in the first person. Give your work to someone else in the room.
Second Writer: Choose one of the remaining two characters and write the middle of the story. Add rising tension or a plot twist. Write for 13 minutes in the first person. Give your work to someone else.
Third Writer: Take the remaining character and finish the story. Find a way to bring closure to the conflict. You will write for 13 minutes from a third person limited point of view.
