a) English?
I believe that, currently, English is an important language in the whole world. It is a tool that we can all use in our lives and it is necessary for our development in certain working areas.
b) Learning?
To be honest, I believe that anyone can learn. At least if we talk about languages. If the teacher and the technique is good, then the student it is going to learn. Maybe it is difficult for some people, but with effort you can do anything.
c) Teaching?
It may be difficult to teach, because of obvious reasons, like lack of interese or bad behaviour in the classroom, but those are little problems that we have to overcome somehow. We can teach whoever wants to lear, we can give knowledge to the world if we have the patience.
I think that my beliefs derive mainly from my family and the middle school and high school that I went to in the past. Mostly, when I was still in school, they taught me about tolerance, critic thinking, ask about everything, being curious, etc, and this clearly affects in the present, with my way of teaching and treating the students.
Considering my group's perfomance, I think that we explained the movie farely, whitout exagerations and we kept it really simple which in my opinion, is easy to understand. We should improve in our english, as always, because we got a little bit nervous and sometimes we talked in really bad english and that shouln't happen.
What impacted me the most from the film was how women were treated at the time that the movie was based on. Every single women in the movie was brilliant and could have a exciting and succesful future if the wanted, but almost all of them were obssesed with men and being married, which now is an stupidity but in those times it was the rule. Also, I really liked the teacher's beliefs, she was determined and knew a lot. She tried to help all of her students as well.
