Shades on Crimson
TEMPERA ON CANVASÂ 25 x 50 cm.
This painting gives a strong chromatic impression. The base was not prepared by me, but entirely realized by Mele using different shades of red, crimson, scarlet and pinkish. At the end he added only white, giving the impression of intentionally representing in silhouette figures, even overexposed ones. Mele decided clearly the subject of this canvas, but it unfortunately remains, at the moment, still unknown to us...
