Pictures Are Poems Workshop

Sangeeta Vyas and I will be conducting a one day art workshop at Pitaara in Goregaon east called Pictures Are Poems suitable for 6 to 10 year old kids.

Here are the details of the workshop:

Kids are always fascinated by the colours. There's nothing more interesting than painting with those colours. And if the paintings are based on poems,the whole idea becomes a series.

A doting mother,Kanika G, started writing short stories for her cute little daughter. The little girl loved the stories and could relate to the character "Tania", and thus was born,"The Tania Series".

The daughter had vacations a couple of weeks ago. She was getting bored. Kanika got her paints and brushes. A poem was born.Many poems and paintings were born gradually.

Let your kid also explore the world of words, colours, brushes, paints and imagination.

Let them explore on their own.

The kids will listen to the poems and paint the characters in their own style. They will also listen to a short story and would be guided to paint the cover of the story.

Date and time: 19th April 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Ticket-Rs 400/- (includes paints,brushes and the drawing sheets)

Minimum 5 kids are required for the workshop to be conducted. If lesser number register by 18th April,the workshop will be cancelled and the money refunded.
