coming to power of a new generation. All said and done, it feels like this happens pretty much every year at machaneh. It is funny for me and Avi (Rosh Mosh) as returning mazkirut members, because it can feel like we’ve somehow delayed that process. On the other hand, we’ve talked a lot about leaving next year, and watching the growth of younger tzevet members with enthusiasm and hope. In a youth movement, constant turnover is part of the game, and though it can make things more inefficient, there is something to be said for the leadership of a new generation, the true power of youth, and the opportunities that come with renewal.
Well, it’s quite a few thoughts, and most of you are at machaneh, where reading this whole email will be either hard or impossible, but know that I’m thinking of you! Our days are sprinkled with stories from throughout the movement, and we draw inspiration and support from our HD relationships all over the world. Hope you're having a lovely, meaningful, and joyfully Jewish summer.
