Waffle Batter

This recipe is from Mrs. Rowe's favorite recipes, Rowe's Family Restaurant is well known and located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

This is a recipe I found when looking for a delicious waffle batter which could be stored for a few days. Found this one and it is a winner in

my kitchen. Bootsie

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

4 teaspoons sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups milk

2 beaten eggs

6 teaspoons vegetable oil

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk and eggs, beat on low speed until mixed and smooth.

Add vegetable oil, mix until smooth.

Place in sealed container. Leave overnight before using. If tightly covered will keep one week.
