Classic 1-2-3-4 Cake

3 cups cake flour                                           Preheat oven 375 degrees for 
1 tablespoon baking powder                            2 9 inch layer pans or 
1/2 teaspoon salt                                           3 8 inch layer pans
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract                               Preheat over 350 Degrees for 
4 farm fresh eggs                                           Bundt pan
3/4 cup kefir milk

Sift flour, baking powder and salt.  Set aside.  

Cream butter, add sugar gradually and beat until well mixed.  Add the vanilla and 1 egg. 
 Add the other 3 eggs one at a time.  When this is mixed add 1/2 of the dry ingredients
and 1/2 of the milk, mix well.  Add the remaining dry ingredients and milk, mix.  Batter 
should be smooth.   Butter and flour cake pans.  Layers bake for 25 to 30 minutes, Bundt
cake bake for 1 hour.  Test to be sure cake is done.  Cool in pans for 5 -10 minutes before
turning onto racks.
