History in the Making - Part 3

One more set of stairs to go and I can already ear the people outside gathered talking fakely knowledgeable about the unforeseen event. Deep breaths...

As I start the first step of the last set of steps a violent earthquake stroke down caughting the rest of us completely off guard and damaging the building to the point of collapsing the entrance leaving the rest of us pin-down inside. Somehow I was able to hold on and secure myself.

Afterward, most of the rest of us started panicking while the others just froze in place while furiously looking in every direction in search of a way out. Looks like we got trapped inside...

I solely joined a third group and started to worry about the ten second earthquake that nearly destroyed the building in one strike. Surely there's going to be some after shocks just as dangerous.

- I got to get out of here before another one turns the building into dust with me in it. Come on! Think! Just think!

I could try and help the people who's trying to dig the piles of rubble that fall in the entrance but not only that's going to take too long but that is also a very bad place to be right now.

So what do I know about the building... There's no backdoor nor access to emergency fire escape stairs from where we are... Trying to figure out where could we get access or even if there's still one could take a while...
