History in the Making - Part 15

- Hi everyone! I'll be out of your hair and on my way after some information... And if you have and a doctor for this man, please, check him out!

- Of course... What seems to be matter? - Says the doctor directly to the old man but I was the one to respond...

- He was knockout cold earlier. I'm assuming by a rock or some other kind of debris. None of us saw what was it exactly.

The doctor started to inspect him as the fierce look of the angry man continuously tried to evaluate us. Everyone else completely stopped what they were doing and started paying attention to what was going on so, I continued:

- Does anyone know what is going on? Has anyone been able to contact other people? What are the affected areas? How long will this be going on? I'm not an astrophysicist but this can't be no ordinary meteor shower! The streets are mostly paved with bodies of people, pets and everything else...

A deep silence was installed all around... Only the movements of the doctor was heard as she was observing the old man. All the others, with no exceptions, frown and looked some other way. Maybe it was too many questions in one go...

A few good seconds had passed as I impatiently awaited for answers when they started to talk. The military man went first...
