- ....repete. (silence) This is a Nation wide communication! All survivors should get to the nearest port until the end of the next week, by Friday the thirteenth. Upon arrival, you'll be given a choice that you'll have to make so be ready to travel. This message will remain active, in loop and in multiple languages until the referred deadline is reached, after which, it will be turned off. After a brief pause, this message will repeat. (silence) Se trata de una comunicación a nivel nacional! Todos los sobrevivientes deben ....

So that's it... They are all packing to go there. I'm fearing the possible outcomes but... I think it's because of too many movies and tv series influence.

Setting aside that anguish, I decided to also go, but... I don't have much of my own stuff so I'll probably travel light.

We have over a week to walk what was about an little more than an hour by public transportation before all of this mess... I can't shake the feeling that I should go home first... I don't have any close family but still... Something is missing...

As I walk in again, everyone had calmed down already and the bags were ready to grab and go. As I entered, they saw me with the radio in one hand and understood that I already was caught up to the news.

Glancing the bags, I stuffed the radio in one of them and announced...

- I won't be going with you!

Before I could say anything else, little Mary almost screamed:

- What?! No way!

Her furious soft eyes looked at me fiercely in hope that I would change my mind... It's to be expected. It's child psychology 101... If a child is helped by someone, even if by a complete stranger, they will immediately create a bond of trust hardly ever broken... friendship!

- Let's talk and decide tomorrow in the morning! - Announced Margaret.

Everybody spread out either to bed or to the kitchen. Without a word, I went to try to get so sleep in the sofa. A thousand things went through my mind as I tried to fall sleep but one remained stronger than the other... What is the loss count around the world? What's the image of this new devastated world?

Worried and without warning... I fell asleep...
