- I'm Joe. You... ...I'm guessing you haven't seen the news yesterday... They announced that the entire solar system was going to be bombarded with very small rocky fragments. None of which apocalyptic but almost all at speed records never so closely observed before...
Grabbing a near chair he sat down as he continued like the worst is still to come. What could be worst? This is becoming like bad movie... And everybody knows that bad movies have bad endings. He pointed to another chair for me to sit too. For some reason I disproved that but sat anyway as I continued to listen...
- They asked the people all around the world to find shelter, preferably in bunkers and waited out for at least 48 hours. The 'Meteor Storm' was estimated to go for about 30 hours and after that only an occasional late meteor would be seen in the following week or two. Well, all that was the good news... The bad news starts with the fact that even though we're not seeing any meteor falling down, if you pay attention to the sky, you can see what you can call as being shooting stars. But they are, most likely, still the 'Meteor Storm' but hitting another part of the planet.
- I see.. And as the planet rotates, we'll be hit again... I don't like to see the news much. I guess I missed that... We were working in the same building went the earthquakes started. Barely got out of there alive, and then again in the streets... Did someone said what caused this?
- Not really. There was supposed to be another announcement today but it was cancelled and then there was only static everywhere!
- I see... I best be on my way! - I announced as I got up from the chair.
