In the distance, a vague sound of old cabinets randomly emerged as I woken up.
I took my time regaining sight so I could get a feel of what's going on. Meanwhile, some of the beds made their own noise as more of us arise with the day.
As I looked around without sudden movements all of the events of the last day fell on me like a rock, giving me a refill of adrenaline. With that, I got up from the sofa and that got me noticed.
- Good morning! There's no coffee, but there's juice and milk. What will you have?
Looking at the table, I've noticed some fresh baked cookies. 'Mama''s got busy...
Before I could say anything, Joe came out of some door with the sound of a flusher behind him. I'm guessing that's the bathroom.
- Good morning people! - Said Joe as he approached the table.
I turned to the table, looked at 'Mama' and thanked the offer. As I picked up some juice, Joe grabbed some cookies. I peeked the beds from afar and saw the old man still resting peacefully. Good...
- I'm going to take a look outside! - I informed as I took the juice with me.
- Careful! In the news they couldn't say exactly for how long was the 'Meteor Storm' last. - Said the worried 'Mama'.
- No problem Margaret. I'll go with! Besides, there's no earthquake for hours! - Said Joe as he picked up some more cookies.
