Michael Marek is an emeritus professor of Communication Arts at Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska, USA, having taught a wide range of media and communication courses. He continues to publish, with research interests focusing on the intersection of instructional technology, language learning, and meta-cultural communication. Dr. Marek was among the first scholars to publish quantitative research about the worldwide impact of COVID-19 restrictions on teaching and learning.
