Lourdes Pomposo

Dr. Pomposo teaches English for Professional and Academic Communication in Universiddad Politécnica de Madrid. She belongs to the Department of Applied Linguistics of UPM. After graduating in English Studies in Universidad de la Laguna (Tenerife) she has been teaching in schools, universities and companies. In fact, she had her own Company in Madrid for nine years with in-company teachers specialized in business environments. She earned a Ph.D. in Business English and oral evaluation in 2015 (UNED) and is currently doing research in ESP, ICTs and virtual exchange (Research group of UAM). Her publications include articles on teaching ESL, new technologies related to ESP teaching, oral evaluation and virtual exchange.
