Jaime Selwood

Jaime Selwood is an associate professor at the Institute for Foreign Language Research and Education at Hiroshima University in Japan. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in England. He has been a member of EUROCALL since 2013 and is one of the original members of the MALL SiG. He has researched, published, presented and developed university courses centred around the use of mobile-technology as a language learning tool. He also writes and publishes an English language learning podcast called English News Weekly and helps to edit a Hiroshima University student-made podcast. Both are available free to download. Other research interests include mobile application (apps) development and mobile-device enhancement for use in the language learning classroom.
