Dr. Elorza obtained a Degree in English Philology and later a PhD. in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Salamanca (Spain). She has been a Honorary Research Associate in the University of Liverpool (UK) and is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Salamanca, where she leads the LINDES research group in descriptive linguistics and is responsible for a module in corpus linguistics. Her research interests focus on the analysis and description of multimodal artefacts involving verbal and static and/or dynamic visual information for meaning making.
