Register here for this special welcome reception on the West Coast in honor of Smith’s new president, Kathleen McCartney. An internationally renowned scholar, McCartney comes to Smith from Harvard University, where she was dean of the Graduate School of Education. Colleagues have called her “an extraordinarily effective academic leader” who has a “relentless passion for enhancing learning in all its forms.” Following the reception, you will have an opportunity to hear from President McCartney. A light fare of wine, sparkling water and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
