Smithie, volcanologist, and recent congressional candidate, Jess Phoenix ’04, will be participating in a panel on climate change hosted by award-winning Mother Jones. Jess, along with former EPA senior advisor, Mustafa Eli, Mother Jones reporter, Rebecca Leber, and science educator, Kishore Hari, will take stock of the state of climate politics—from the rollback in Washington to the resurgence of civic energy around science and environmental issues in cities, states, and at the grassroots.
