Key Objectives:
Reading this module and doing the student activities will enable the students to:
Learn from practical experience of other entrepreneurs.
Identify practical enterprise ideas.
Learn about the role of Entrepreneurs Park, Business Centers, etc.
Enterprise Concepts:
Entrepreneurs park.: These are centers that provide facilities and encouragement to new and upcoming entrepreneurs in their initial years of setting up.
Business centers.: These are centers that provide office space on rent to entrepreneurs and businessmen. Such centers often also provide common communication facilities.
Activities
Activity 1 - FIELD VISIT TO AN ENTREPRENEUR.
Instruction To Students
Groups of students should visit an entrepreneur.
Groups to prepare a set of questions based on the modules they have learnt.
The questions should be maximum 8-10 so that the entrepreneur finds it comfortable to answer in about half-hour of meeting.
Student should strike a friendly conversation with the entrepreneur to obtain practical insights into the functioning of his/her enterprise.
Students should prepare a visit-report and present it to the class when they meet next.
After completing the activity, each group should present and share its main discussion points with the rest of the class.
