Rosters
All transfer athletes be declared to the eligibility committee before September 5th of each year. (Undergrad, USA transfers with 1yr to 4yrs in USA).
Note: Post-grads and Red Shirts should be noted on full roster submissions.
CURA team full rosters to be submitted to the eligibility committee by September 30th of each year. These rosters must be in a spreadsheet format and sent by email to the VP Eligibility or the Eligibility Committee database designate.
Submission of Entries
All entries will be submitted via Regatta Central. Once the information from Regatta Central has been pulled into Regatta Data and a draw has been published the Regatta Data website will become the official location for all information.
All programs will be required to pay their $150.00 registration fee as well as $85.00 per athlete participating.

There are 30' between Events and 10' between races to accommodate for "A", "B"and "C" Finals depending on number of entries.

Comments:
All times in Eastern Standard Time. The end of daylight savings time is coming to effect during the night of Saturday November 1 and Sunday November 2. Due to the sun setting an hour earlier on Sunday, the racing schedule is adjusted to start at 8am on Sunday.
Time Trials will take place in Lanes 4 (even) and 5 (odd), unless judged unfair with the wind conditions. Crews will be called at intervals of 30 seconds.
All scratches or name changes made the day of have to be submitted in writing to control commission, for both the Time Trials and the Finals.
The order of Time Trials will follow in the order of the Finals as listed above.
The Finals for Open Men's 2x and Open Women's 2x will be at the last two races, and do not count into team points for trophies for 2025.
The seeding for the Day Two six boat finals will be based on the results from the Day One Time Trial:
Final A: 1-6; Final B: 7-12; Final C: 13-18
In the event there is only one (1) crew for a final, that final will not be raced. Lanes in the finals will be seeded according to time trial finish order. Times from the Time Trial are final regardless of changes in water conditions. Day Two Finals shall be rowed in the following order: Final C, Final B, then Final A.
Rules and Regulations

All RCA Rules of racing shall apply with the exception of the manner in which lightweights weigh in. That detail can be found in section F of the Rules and regulations.
Registration
All athletes must register with a valid form of picture student ID. Registration will be held on Friday from 10 - 12 PM / 2 - 4 PM in the Quartier des Athlètes. Photo ID will be required at commission control, and required to all weigh-ins for lightweight athletes and coxswains. An electronic copy or photo of the ID will be accepted if the physical ID isn’t available. All fees must be paid online before registration commences.
Weigh In
A test scale will be available in the Quartier des athlètes starting Friday, October 31 at 9 AM.
Saturday weigh-ins will open at 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM for LW and 8 AM - 9 AM for LM.
Sunday weigh-ins will open at 6:20 AM - 7:20 AM for LW, and 6:50 AM - 7:50 AM for LM.
*The Sunday weigh-in window might be pushed up by 10 mins in the case of a Final C occuring in the LW2x.
Coxswains: minimum of 55kg
Lightweight Women: maximum of 59kg
Lightweight Men: maximum of 72.5kg
F.2.3. Crews will weigh in according to their seeding order. Seeding order for Time Trials is based on the placement of the university in the prior year. Seeding order for Finals is based on the placement of the lightweight doubles from the time trial. This includes all athletes of the event, including coxswains, regardless of the coxswain’s own gender.
F.2.4 Athletes are permitted an unlimited number of steps on the test scale. However, if an athlete must re-step, they move to the back of the line to wait for another turn.
Trailers
Trailer parking will be managed on the tarmac, and in the public parking lot near the Athletes’ Quarter is needed. Trailers may arrive and will be allocated parking space on the Wednesday preceding the championship. Please notify the McGill Head Coach if you are bringing a trailer. A parking map will be shared no later than the Tuesday preceding the championship.
*The Parc Jean-Drapeau emergency lanes and exits must be kept clear at all times, regardless of trailer parking.
Awards Nominations
CURCs annually awards the Female and Male athlete of the year as well as the Female and Male Program Coach of the Year. Nominations go into the nomination committee before the event to start the discussion. Coaches will meet 30 minutes after the last race of the event to vote on each award.
Photography
There will be a livestream and photographers on site for the event.
Team Information
Teams are encouraged to complete the Team Information Sheet to help provide information to the commentators for the livestream. Please re-name the sheet you complete with your team name.
