CBT Series

Our CBT series consists of three titles, each of which has been written and presented by Frank Wills. Frank is the author of "Cognitive Therapy: Transforming the Image", "Beck's Cognitive Therapy" and "Skills in Cognitive Behaviour Counselling and Psychotherapy" and works as an independent cognitive therapist in Bristol. He is a BACP Fellow and Accredited Counsellor and a UKCP/BABCP Registered Cognitive Psychotherapist and teaches at the Universtiy of Wales, Newport.

In two of the DVDs - "An Introduction to CBT" and "CBT Skills in Practice" the role of client is taken by a colleague of Frank's, Jan Grey. Jan is a BACP accredited counsellor & BABCP Accredited Cognitive Therapist, and also teaches at the University.

The role of client in "CBT for Depression" is taken by Rosa Johnson - Rosa is an experienced counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural therapist working in the substance abuse field. She has an MA in counselling and has also worked as a trainer.

In each of the DVDs Frank discusses with Mike Simmons the process of the therapy and his thoughts about the session as its progresses. Mike was Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching at the University of Wales, Newport, a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a BACP accredited trainer until the cessation of that scheme in 2010. He has had more than 20 years of experience as a counselling trainer.
