Makes approx 10L at 7-8%.
Fermentation: up to 12 days.
Bottle for 14 days.
Ingredients:
1 can of Pale Ale Malt Extract (Bru-Mix)
2 cups of Dextrose
1/4 cup of Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup of White Sugar (NOTE: used for priming)
1/2 packet of Beer Yeast (usually included with malt)
1/2 packet of Dry Active Bakers Yeast (not the quick rise)
In a large pot boil 5L of water, then remove from heat. Add all ingredients (except yeast and 1/2 cup of white sugar for priming) and stir. Add mixture to fermenter. Add approx 5L water to fermenter (total volume approx 11L). Add yeast and then airlock. Once its done fermenting, rack brew into bucket, add 1/2 cup of white sugar, stir a little, then bottle.
