Makes 20L @ 1-2%
Ferment within 24 hours, in bottles for 14 days
1 Bottle of Root Beer Extract 120ml
10 cups of sugar (2kg)
Packet of Yeast
Add warm water, 5 cups of sugar, and yeast to fermenter. Keep warm (20-25 °C), cover with cheese cloth. Check every hour, if there is a layer of yeast on top of the brew install the airlock. Once the yeast has dissolved back into the brew, rack into a 20 L bucket (its not done fermenting, it will finish in the bottles, the pressure will kill the yeast, so it should remain sweet). Fill bucket with water and 5 cups of sugar, then rack into P.E.T bottles (it will be very carbonated, like soda pop, so use only plastic pop bottles). Leave in warm dark place for 14 days before drinking.
