Trying again with a modified recipe. Tried it. WOW! This stuff rocks. Very nice and is actually similar to Rickard's White or Blue Moon. Loads of creamy head, but I think I added too much priming sugar (1 1/2 cups of white sugar). Here's the Recipe Click Here.
Aging Remarks:
- Two weeks: very tasty, could pick out the malt and brown sugar flavor.
- Four weeks: still good but starting to lose the distinct malty taste that was there.
- Six weeks: the taste is returning, but the brown sugar flavor is gone (that's a good thing).
Here is a pic at seven weeks, it has lost some of its whiteness, but has gotten back a lot of its taste.
