HEALTH FOR ALL MOVEMENT
PROJECT: SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON HFA/REGION/5-10-15-YEARS
FACULTY'S OBJECTIVES FOR STUDENTS:
1. To train the medical students on how to promote health development (solve health problems) in the REGION or in any community through a primary health care approach.
1.1 To train them on how to initiate a multisectoral cooperation.
2. To teach the medical students the concepts of:
2.1 "Health for All" movement
2.2 Primary health care approach
3. To teach the medical students on how to organize a seminar-workshop.
4. To teach the medical students on managerial skills.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES FOR THE STUDENTS:
At the end of the seminar-workshop, the student must be able to:
1. Formulate a management plan on how to promote health development (solve health problems) in REGION or in any community through a primary health care approach.
1.1 Initiate a multisectoral cooperation among the medical students, medical faculty, administration, and paramedical personnel of ROJMHAS.
2. Explain the "Health for All" Movement.
3. Discuss the primary health care approach.
4. Organize a seminar-workshop on HFA/REGION/5-10-15-YEARS.
5. Demonstrate skills in the managerial process.
LEARNING STRATEGIES:
Faculty gives students:
1. General description of the project and its expected outputs
2. Hand-outs
Students then do:
1. Problem-based learning
2. Independent study
Students then accomplish the project:
1. Demonstrating achievement of the learning objectives.

Formulation of a ROJMHAS HFA/REGION/5-10-15-YEARS PROGRAM (with ROJMHAS multisectoral colloboration).
Formulation of a ROJMHAS Task Force HFA/ REGION/5-10-15-YEARS (to be headed by a medical student).

SPECIFICS:
1. Year Level I Class Project, to be led by the Class President
2. Schedule:
2.1 On the second Thursday of the 2-week course on "Health Management"
2.2 Whole day

3. Venue: ROJMHAS
4. Days to prepare: 10 days
Starting on the 1st day of the 2-week course on "Health Management"
5. General objective:
To organize a seminar-workshop on HFA/REGION/5-10-15-YEARs that will involve the medical students, medical faculty, administration, and paramedical personnel of the ROJMHAS.
