Unlimited license

Allows one user to use the current version of the program on one computer for an unlimited time.

A license may be beneficial to you if you do not want to receive new versions of the plugin and have not updated AutoCAD|BricsCAD for more than five years. For AutoCAD|BricsCAD subscription owners, a perpetual plugin license is a waste of money as you will still have to buy new licenses every year for new plugin versions to suit new CAD versions.

The cost of the license for each program is indicated on all pages of the programs and in the general list.

Benefits

• • You can no longer worry about replenishing the balance of your A>V>C> account every year.

  • You will be able to update the program to all new versions released within one year after receiving the license. Later versions require a separate license.

  • You can activate your second computer for free. For example, you can activate a work computer in the office and a laptop at home. But one license cannot be used for two workstations in one local network. It is forbidden to use the license by different persons. It is forbidden to run the program with one license on two computers at the same time. If these conditions are violated, the license may be automatically revoked.

  • You can transfer your license to new computers and other Windows user accounts an unlimited number of times, but no more than once a day. However, the license is for one person only. If there is a suspicion that the activation transfer is used for alternate use by different persons, the license may be revoked.

Disadvantages and limitations

• • A very expensive license. It only makes sense to get a unlimit license if you are confident that you will be using the software for more than five years.

  • After the first year of use, you will no longer be able to update the program for free. If you change AutoCAD / BricsCAD to a new one, you will have to buy a new license for plugins that are suitable for the new version of CAD.

  • When transferring a license to another computer or reinstalling Windows, you should install the old version of the program for which you have a license. You won't be able to download very old versions anywhere. Please do not write to technical support asking them to send them. In this case, you should take care of saving your version of the program yourself. To activate a new version of the program, you will have to purchase a new license.

  • The license is for one user only. It is forbidden to use one license by several persons. If such a suspicion arises, the license may be revoked.

  • License activation is linked to the following data:

    • your email,

    • computer motherboard identifier,

    • the identifier of the installed copy of the Windows operating system,

    • Windows computer name

    • the name of the Windows user account.

  • Any changes to this data will cause activation to stop working and the application will require activation. Therefore, before updating your computer or Windows, you need to cancel the activation. And after the upgrade, activate the program again. In this case, you do not have to purchase a new license.

  • It is not possible to activate a unlimit license until the annual or trial license has expired. But you can (and should) take care of replenishing your balance in advance.

  • To activate the license and to run commands, the computer must be connected to the Internet. If the program was unable to connect to the server within 48 hours, activation will be blocked and the command will stop running. After the connection is restored, the program may need to be reactivated. However, your license is retained. For computers that are not connected to the network, a special Offline activation mode is provided. But its use is not recommended.

  • To protect your license, you must come up with a password for your account. You will have to remember the password when reactivating and activating other computers.
