Take It Slow
Don’t rush the process. Focus on one skill at a time, such as floating, kicking, or breathing.
Practice Breathing Techniques
Learn to exhale underwater and inhale above water. Practice blowing bubbles in the water to get used to controlled breathing.
Use Supportive Equipment
Use a kickboard, pool noodle, or floatation device to help you stay afloat while practicing strokes or kicks.
Take Swimming Lessons
If possible, enroll in a beginner swimming class or work with a certified instructor. They can provide guidance and correct your technique.
Stay Relaxed
Tension in your body can make swimming harder. Stay calm, relax your muscles, and trust the water to support you.
