Nothing is absolutely wrong

This is a story of a father and daughter. It was Sunday and the family was having lunch. The girl must have been about fourteen, and she was complaining about not being able to do a piece of homework, because every time she had stared, it went wrong. She was not able to solve the problem.

'Perhaps, the times when it goes wrong, it teaches you something’, said her father. But she was sure that the reason for things not going right was because she would have taken the wrong path and there was no way to put things right.

Her father took her by the hand and led her into the living room. There was a large, antique grandfather’s clock, which had stopped years before because it could no longer be repaired.

'Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong my dear,' said her father, looking at the clock. ‘Even a stopped clock is right twice a day'.

‘Nothing is absolutely wrong, so just don't lose your hope but try with some more improvements next time and you will find your way'.
