Our Introduction

There was a young woman who gave her firstborn up for adoption immediately after birth.

The child's adoptive parents were not told of the birthparent's identity. They waited until the child, a girl, had matured enough before they told her what little they knew about the adoption.

It was common knowledge in the community that the daughter was an adopted child.

In her mid-thirties the daughter's adoptive parents were killed in a tragic auto accident and she inherited a great fortune.

After months of grief a stranger claimed to represent one of the daughter's yet-living birthparents. He stated that the parent presently wished to remain anonymous. He said that he had been retained to pass written correspondence between them and invited written questions from the daughter to begin.

The daughter considered how she might test the stranger's claims.

Shouldn't a similar test effort apply to "Conversations"?
