Bestseller Status

On December 14, 1997 the New York Times Book Review noted (p34) that after 52 weeks on their "Best Sellers List," Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations With God: Book One (Putnam, 1996), remained the top selling nonfiction religious title and #10 on the overall list.

"Book Two" of Walsch's Conversations series is also doing well. The religion bestsellers list of Publishers Weekly magazine is generated from data received from general independent bookstores, chain stores, and wholesalers. For the month of December 1997, Walsch's second Conversations book was #9 on the Publishers Weekly list.

Book One was at the top of that list. By the end of January Book Two had moved up to the #4 spot with Book One's status unchanged.
