AR-topics

Someday this aspect of the collection could become one of the most, if not THE most significant single tool within the AR-chive. Why? The intent in creating the listing is to have a place-holder (or one place to go on-site) to find brief topical summary contributions. For example, the entry on the Unification Church in the listing gives an idea of what I mean. (No other summary work has yet been done.)

We have only a few preferences as to how this should be developed. There is a lot of room for freedom here as long as the goal of providing only topic summary content is maintained. It you can't be brief, link to it instead.

So, if AR-chive collaborators have (or know of) info that they feel would fit well under a particular topic, feel free to: 1) create the related subpage if one doesn't already exist, and 2) use it to place topic summary content with the option of including links and/or attaching files -- using the page to introduce file contents as long as they also provide topic summary content.

Again, just as we ask in the AR-talk charter, please make the descriptions brief, and use either of these methods (link or attachment) to provide more info. In other words, please don't use the topic pages to get verbose when you can provide a link or attachment for further details/discussion instead. (This could result in quite a broad range of quality. However, it is better to have an option than not. Consider the range of quality found in AR-talk. We would imagine this part of the AR-chive might eventually exhibit similar characteristics.)

In creating this listing we wanted to develop a cross-reference tool that will highlight topic affiliations and key-word relationships. Consequently, when you look up a topic, it may give you ideas to identify related search terms which you might not have considered before. (In some cases, as with the Unification Church example, there are so many related terms that it isn't practical to include them all in the listing. Consequently, this info should be packed into the topic's subpage.)
