Q: "Why did you decide to stop charging for Apologia Report subscriptions?"

A: We have always wanted the largest possible circulation for AR, but that was constrained by the initial desire to see if we could make Apologia Report self-sustaining. After a decade of trying, I decided to change strategies. By the grace of God, I am now a "tent-making" apologist in that I also have a second career that I enjoy very much as a collection development librarian. The income from my librarian job offsets the need to make Apologia a self-sustaining ministry. I would love to return to full-time ministry and we would still love to get enough financial support to allow me to do this. The down side of the present arrangement is that I am busier than ever now and a lot of things that I would like to do must wait.
