Otherwise known as the Vine Snake, the Rough Green Snake is a plain light green snake on the ventral side - a color that very much resembles that of the Green Anole. The dorsal side will be light yellow, white, or a pale green. At youth the body color will be a more muted green. Being an excellent climber, the Rough Green Snake may be found in shrubs or vines (Conant and Collins 346).
