Fence Lizard
Adult Size: 10 - 18.4 cm
Head-Body Length (SVL): 8.6 cm
Often referred to as a "Pine Lizard", this small, gray/brown, and spiny; male adult Fence Lizards have a brilliant color pattern on its ventral side that easily distinguish them from other species on site. Although stomach pattern coloration may very, it is typically a bluish to turquoise color. This coloration (Which also appears on the throat) has a black outline and is separated down the middle by the main body coloration. Female Fence Lizards are mostly gray with patterned on top.
Both sexes will feature a dark line running on the rear surface of the thigh.
