4th graders were asked to reflect on the Earth, Earth Day, and the environment. They were encouraged to think about what they appreciated about being outside, and living in California, especially during Covid-19,. They designed a tile with their initial (or initials), using these ideas, and hand-built their tile during our first class back on campus. Glazing their tiles during our second class and sharing and writing these descriptions during our final class of the year, completed our art experience for the 20/21 school year.
