“The future is now,” says the CEO of Spotify, Daniel Ek. Spotify has recently unveiled its newest feature for the disabled: Spotify Paraplegic. “We felt bad here at Spotify, realizing that paraplegic people couldn’t listen to music like the rest of us,” Daniel Ek stated in a recent interview. “Spotify Paraplegic is meant to allow the paraplegic to hear our music.” But how does Spotify Paraplegic even work? “Honestly, I have no idea,” says the co-founder of Spotify, Martin Lorentzon.
An interview with one of Spotify’s employees shed more light on the situation “First we turned up the flux capacitors, then we had the difficult task of setting up the sound normal actualization, and finally, we turned up the volume by 1500 percent.” As we wrapped up our interview Daniel Ek had a closing statement for us, “It’s a real miracle, ya’know, one day you’re unable to hear, and then next with Spotify: Paraplegic you’re… unpalegicted, we gave at least one person the ability to hear with this, maybe even two.”
