Within The Greens

ARGUMENTATIVE QUESTION:

In the daman fort complex area and the surrounding zones people accessed the areas where shade was created by canopy of trees. Now it is seen as an administrative block , but it has spatial artefacts and the concern is to preserve the aspect of how they find a way to coexist with natural vegetation. How can we reorchestrate the ground conditions in order to make complex intertwining of the landscape and the built form for the entanglement of life growing in that system? Presence of this ecology all around helps stabilize the climatic conditions and hence creating a difference between inside and outside the complex.

INTEND

Convincing a building as a dialogue between ‘built and unbuilt' that envisages the past, present and the future which responds to all seasonal changes accordingly through exploring the idea of temporality and modularity.

ARGUMENTATIVE DRAWING:

SITE:

Many places in the fort complex have vegetation taking over the builtform which serves as an evidence that, ecology is very powerful in this space.

On the opposite side of the the concrete shops are built but are not in any use. the surrounding area has a ruin, a warehouse and private farmlands.
