My friend and colleague, Mike Golder, teaches Tech Ed at Central Middle School. As a fun project in his shop class, he and his students make paper rockets, set up a target across the shop, and take turns seeing who has the greatest accuracy hitting the target with their rockets. Pretty fun, hey?
He made the following video to show you how to make a paper rocket, so you can have some fun building these at home. All you need is a piece of paper, a pair of scissors, a straw (or pen) and some tape. This is a fun build.
Make sure you're careful with the scissors! Don't run with them. Or cut yourself. And don't shoot your eye out (or a younger sibling's!) with the rocket.
Send me a pic of your rocket and let me know how the build went!
Enjoy!
