Supplies: Paper and pencil
Optional Supplies: Pencil crayons, felts, this can also be done digitally if you have a drawing app on your computer or tablet
You will be drawing an object or animal that is morphing into something else, and you will be drawing the stages of change in between. Try to do a minimum of two morphing stages for a total of four small drawings in the series. To challenge yourself even more try to do more stages in between. Think of two things that might have a similar shape (examples below). While doing the drawings try to overlap characteristics from one shape to the next.
A teapot to an elephant A hedgehog to a loaf of bread
Lamp to a snake
Clock to an owl
If you can, try to use thinner paper and then you can trace your images to use details from both. Or use the computer or tablet screen as a “light table" (see below)
