Combine cookie dough ingredients in a large bowl.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto parchment-covered or lightly greased cookie sheets.
To bake two sheets of cookies at once, place the oven racks so they divide the oven cavity into thirds. Bake for half of the time, then switch the cookie sheets to continue baking.
Bake until cookies are no longer shiny. Then move to cooling rack to cool completely. If there are an odd number of cookies, cut one in half.
