A: “I have been teaching math for 5-6 years.”

A: “I have taught 9th and 10th grade in high school. When I first came to Pershing I was teaching sixth grade and then for the past two years they put me in 7th grade for American history.”
5. Q:What is your opinion on homework?
A: “That is a very funny question, I do think homework is important just to reteach what we did in class and it also helps me to see where the students have grown, what they did really well and to see where the students need to grow or where I need to make sure that they understand the context or the skills learning.”
6. Q: What are some rules in your classroom?
A: “Some rules in my classroom are that it's an anti-bullying room. I mean that goes to all of Pershing, we must respect all cultures and beliefs and social studies so all are welcomed regardless where you come from. One mic rule only one person can speak at a time you shouldn't be speaking over others and then another rule is to be prepared for class and having everything that you need and positive vibes only.”

“Hello! My name is Jodie Jiang from 802 , I go by she/they, and I am a senior in this school! Personally, I find Pershing a little boring, so I suggest joining school activities and clubs! They are pretty entertaining and fun, and really enjoyable. An advice I would give to the young is to work hard and never give up especially in the toughest situation, mistakes can help you improve a lot and helps you learn new strategies. The most challenging part of school for me is tests and regents, mostly since there is a lot of challenging and tricky questions, but that doesn't mean you should give up! Always try your best and pick your best guess!"
˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ In conclusion, Jodie advises juniors to work hard to achieve your dreams no matter how difficult it is, and to never give up!
┈➤ ‿ღ outside information :
My biggest fear in life is heights, and if I could travel to any time period, I would travel back to 2018, when I was in 4th grade. If I was able to travel anywhere in the world, I would go back to China. My biggest weakness is probably my low self esteem, it’s hard to love myself. Despite the struggles of life, I adore my friends. My biggest pet peeve is chewing loudly or when eating and chewing with your mouth open. If I could describe myself in 3 words it would be calm, happy and introverted.”

“Hi Pershing! I'm a senior this year from class 816, who goes by she/her pronouns!
I enjoy Pershing's large inclusive environment because the Pershing's staff members make sure the environment is friendly and kind to everyone no matter their race, gender, or sexuality. The advice I would give to the 6th grader is to be kind and caring to everyone, and make sure to keep a good impression. My favorite teacher is Ms Yi, she was my past math teacher and assisted me through my failure."
˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ To sum it all up, this person suggests the youngsters to show respect everywhere and to treat others how you wanna be treated.
┈➤ ‿ღ outside information :
"In the future I see myself as a police officer, I enjoy true crime documentaries, and find it really interesting! What I think my weakness is, is talking too much. I sometimes tend to ramble on abo ut various topics which can be annoying to my peers. I really love my cats, they are like my best friends who are always there to comfort me! I enjoy their presence and they make me feel safe. I think the most embarrassing moment of my life is the first day of school, you never know what could happen and I try to make a good first impression to people who see me. I was pretty nervous but thankfully my friends were there for me and helped me make it through. If I could describe myself in 3 words, it would be nice, loving, and funny.”

“Hi, I go by he/him and I'm from class 802.
I think Pershing is alright, t there are some things that bothers me, but overall it’s tolerable. If I were to give advice to the youngsters, it would be , look at the arrows on the staircase that show which direction it’s meant for. During passing times, it’s often that the staircase would be pretty crowded; despite that fact some 6th graders would still go to the wrong staircase making the situation worse. My biggest fear is failing, since I would feel pretty humiliated and disappointed . My favorite teacher was my previous music teacher, Mr Maurer. In the future, I see myself working in a mundane office job. My weakness is waking up on time in the morning.
˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ In short, Alan suggests that when moving from class to class, it is important to go down or up the correct staircase, or else it can be unorganized and overly crowded which prevents you from getting to class on time.
┈➤ ‿ღ outside information :
”In life, I like the idea of just living. If I can go to any time period, I would go back to the 2000's, and show my culture to more people so it can get more recognition. My biggest pet peeve is people trying to annoy you even when you address it to them. I look up to Naoki Satio. The most embarrassing moment of my life is performing a play viewed by my entire family including my relatives. My hobbies are drawing. Three words that describe me are inconsistent, brilliant, and dull.”

An advice I would give to the younger audience is to study hard for exams and always do your best, even if something seems impossible. The most challenging part of school for me is probably social studies because many things confuse me but I’m getting by. My favorite teachers are Mrs. Ciccoto, Ms. Galicia, and Ms Yi. My biggest fear is drowning since the idea of the deep sea and what's below frightens me. "
˚୨୧⋆。˚ Last but not least, Rainbow explains that youngsters should work hard to achieve their goals no matter the difficulty, and to study hard for tests, regents, and exams.
┈➤ ‿ღ outside information :
If I could travel back to any time period, I would travel back to the 1980s since it seems fun. In the future, I see myself as a teacher since I believe I have the capability to guide young students to success. In life, I love my friends and my phone the most. My pet peeve is people disturbing me when I'm on my phone, especially my siblings. I look up to my cousin because of their intelligence. If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Japan. I admire their culture and their way of life. One of my most embarrassing moments is crying in front of a crowd since I didn't want to swim in the deep end of a pool. My hobbies are reading and sleeping. My favorite teachers are Mrs. Ciccoto, Ms. Galicia, and Ms Yi. 3 words I would use to describe myself are lazy, amazing, and unique.
