What do people do on Election day exactly?
Here's a summary of what we do on Election Day.

Election day is annually and this year Election Day is on November 8, 2022. During this day, an election will take place and the House of Representatives and the Senate will arrive and be contested. Citizens vote for people who can represent their ideas and the leaders are to support their ideas. The candidates running for president are elected along the process of Popular Vote. Popular Vote is when citizens cast their votes for president, they also elect a state of electors. The electors would cast their votes on who they think should become the President of The United States. Another process is called the Electoral College. Each elector can vote for who they wish too, the Candidate with over 270 votes wins the Electoral College.
Extra Information:
The candidate that was now voted president would start their office on January 20th. There are 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 out of 100 in the Senate when it's Election Day and they come to order.

What is The Day of the Dead? Well, it's a holiday with its roots tied with the North American Country of Mexico, mainly celebrated in Mexico and places with Mexican heritage, Many of the Holiday traditions come from medieval Europe with holidays such as All Saints Day and All Souls Day being shown in Spain (The Colonizer of Mexico).
For the Preparation of the Holiday, First you must place the photos of your past loved ones, From Past Generations to the Recently Deceased on a stand. Called an Ofrenda de Muertos. You must lay out Marigold petals to guide the souls to their loved ones homes. Lay out food in which your past loved ones loved to eat, Get old remedies to remind the family of the good times they had.
Calaveras (Skull) is the symbol for the holiday often represented in Mask or Candies.
Many popular movies have gotten inspiration or referenced this holiday, such as the 2015 James Bond Movie, Spectre which showed a festival of the Day of the Dead in Mexico City but there was no actual parade shown during that time, However a year later due to interest of the movie and the government wanting to promote Mexican Culture, a parade was hosted. The 2017 Movie, Coco by Pixar has gotten its story based on the holiday.
Day of the Dead is celebrated from November 1st to November 2nd, Where families come together and remember the lost lives of their family, From Past Generations to the Most Recent. Its history has come from Mexican-Aztec Heritage and Nationalism, The Holiday has become a nation wide symbol of Mexico even being taught in Schools all across the country, Asserting their Mexican Identity.

In 1621, the Plymouth Colonists and the Wampanoag shared a fall harvest feast that is known today as Thanksgiving. In 1941, Thanksgiving was the fourth Thursday in November. On Thanksgiving, family and friends gather together for a feast. In America, people eat turkey, cranberries and pumpkin pie. On Thanksgiving, people are thankful for friends, family, teachers, and more. At school, Thanksgiving break is on November 24th and 25th. Schools will be closed at this break.
