Wednesday class: 8.30m class start
Implement updates and fixes to motion graphics
Lay down your audio track into the AE document
Finalise and save draft with Media Encoder (see tutorial below)
Friday class: 12.00pm class start
Start to design your poster/s printed as A3's, display drafts on the walls for testing and feedback
Start work on the Perth City Speaks logo - the chosen design will be used on all print and merch collateral (not the Tower).
Screen test starts at 2pm in Yagan Square
Collating Zeppo and peer feedback on Screen Test 3 and posters on Learning journals
Work on Showcase learning journal page
Allocate showcase spot in LGD Room
Mock up design
DELIVERY DATE
File must be delivered by Wednesday 23rd August @ 3pm (Week 13)
After the Showcase, you are welcome to make changes to the pieces and redeliver (etc. increased duration).
FILE SPECIFICATIONS
Frame Size: 1952px by 896px (or 2048px by 896px for automatic seam blurring)
Frame Rate: exactly 30fps or 60fps, progressive.
Pixel Aspect: 1.0 (square)
Encoding: H.264 MP4, file must be smaller than 2GB
Bitrate: 10-15mbps
Duration: up to 3 mins - MUST be rounded to nearest minute (this includes all titles)
Our software will only accept MP4 files less than 2GB, there can be no exceptions to this
TITLE CARDS
Include title card to overlap your project
LAYOUT
Please pay careful attention to the layout of the pieces. Remember that the "center" of the screen is to the right of your frame. Refer to the pdf guideline/templates if you are unsure.
Please notify us if you would like your piece to slowly spin around the Tower.
ROAD SAFETY
In the final stages of preparing content, you are likely to add/change elements of your projects. Please me mindful of speed and colour considerations. 100 pixels of movement on your video is 1.5 meters on our screen so like I always say, if it feels too slow on your end, you're doing it right!
