In AE, you have a PROJECT FILE. Inside PROEJCT FILES, you have COMPOSITIONS.
COMPOSITIONS are essentially 'Folders' of animation.
You can have multiple COMPOSITIONS within one Project.
Animating in After Effects
AE is all about movement!
When animating the attribute on an item, you are simply recording location points in X and Y space.
You can even choose to animate in 3D, giving you an additional Z axis.
Notice the difference between the three movements? We will create these balls in After Effects to explore the three main types of movement.
The red ball is a basic keyframe animation.
The blue ball is an easy ease keyframe animation. Keyframes look like this:
The green ball is a curve edited keyframe animation. Kyeframes look like this:
Download the following assets (Tiger and floral), and create the motion graphics in After Effects.
Taking an asset you have prepared for one of your posts, animate some movement in AE.
The ideal IG video size is 1080 x 1080 pixels.
