Poorly Planned Farms is an arcade, vertical scrolling shooter, designed for a lighter take on the genre with an emphasis on getting points through more peaceful means in harvesting crops. The game is bright & light-hearted, with no game-ending consequences, as there is no life system & enemies only stun & deduct points. Players compete with one another to see who can get the most points at the end of the level.
It's a beautiful morning and your boss, farmer Pete, has given you the task of today's harvest. Pete cares less about where & how you acquire this harvest, & considering he pays based on what you bring back, it's best to capitalise on every opportunity. Especially when you have other harvesters to compete with!
Cross three unique areas swinging sickles & scythes to get the most wheat & corn! Starting in Pete's "Prestigious" farm, mismanaged & full of rats. The Neighbour's farms are the next pickings, complete with rake traps & angry bottle-tossing farmers. Lastly the old corn fields turned to Crop Circles by alien activity.
Stay in the screen while avoiding obstacles as you slice your way to victory with the most bountiful harvest on the SAE arcade machine!
Cut the crops with your scythe and sickle to gain points
Watch out for Cows, rats, rakes and other enemies who will get in your way for farming greatness
Up to 4 players can play for maximum fun and crop gathering.
