Here you will find students studio projects ranging from their 3rd trimester to their 5th trimester.
Studio units are run across 9 hours each week. SAE facilitates a creative production studio, where students can experience team work, cross colaborate with different disciplines, and gather user testing and feedback from their peers.
STUDIO 2
In Studio 2 students undertake four studio briefs and in-class studio activities to be collated in a personally branded FolioZine!
STUDIO 3
Studio three focuses on image making techniques, where students work alongside a live client to create a motion graphic piece for the Yagan Tower in Yagan Square.
The initial brief one, required students to develop a personal brand graphic that represents them, and that can be applied to a FolioZine. It needed to include their name or part of their name and form the basis of the design, with part of the development process of the typography or graphic to be hand-made. The second brief required students to research the Retro Design Movement and a key practitioner, and then apply this knowledge to a Retro Travel Postage Stamp Design Series for Rottnest Island. Brief three required students to design a book cover for the classic stories, Red Riding Hood or Moby Dick. The fourth and final brief required students to design a record cover for a favourite band or musician(s), using their own photographic images as a base ingredient to the design.

Students must work closely with audio students to create an immersive piece, focusing around a topic that reflects something about them.
