Hello my name is Keirstan Towner. I'm apart of the Yearbook and Communications class, and I love taking pictures for the yearbook. On this blog I will be sharing things that most interest my classmates.
Outside this class I love going for a ride in my truck and just turn the radio up and listen to my favorite songs from my phone. I’m excited to keep you updated on what’s happening in our school and community!

I was curious on how many people would be interested in doing E-sports. As a result I created a survey and sent it to our 9-12 grade students to see what their interest in this would be. 75% of the people surveyed said they played video games, 62.5% said they did not play competitive sports, 56.3% said no to wanting to try E-Sports, 28.1% said they might want to try E-sports and lastly 15.6% said they would like to try playing E-Sports. In conclusion when I conducted this survey I was very surprised by the results, If I were to answer these questions I would have put that I wanted to attend E-sports.

My connection to this place is that every time that I am on my way to work and need something to eat I always go in there and grab something or even if I need gas for the vehicle I go there as it is the closest gas station to be able to make it to the places I need to go.
Yesway gas station
Robert Puttney
At first, where Yesway sits right now was originally a small gas station open to the public called Express Mart. Then eventually as time went on Yesway was expanding and wanted to make the Express Mart into Yesway so then there was a way for people to get gas and eat all in one place. The current person who manages Yesway is Jackie Uker and she always has a way to put a smile on your face. I interviewed one of the teachers here at Rockford High School Robert Putney. He came across Yesway by living here in town, he said the reason this is important to him is because he can get reward points to be able to get free food, and the role it plays in our community is that people can get gas and be able to grab a bite to eat if they are in a hurry to get somewhere.

the reason why I am not going to prom is because I just don't want to. "Instead of going to prom I will be sleeping."
Emilee Sande 11th Grade
Something that I am most excited about for prom is my boyfriend is making me supper. my plans are to get dressed, get my hair done, and go to my boyfriends trap meet. " Have fun and don't worry about stress because you're doing good."
Kaiya Vokoun
I went to prom in the year 2012 at the Rolland Iowa high school. one of memorable moment is when my boyfriend at the time went to cheat on with his ex and his friends came and danced with me. my advice is " Just have fun no matter what happens and wear comfortable shoes."
My angle towards prom was the expansion of your social circle. 3 facts that support this are; Prom provides an opportunity to build new relationships, practice social skills in a formal setting, and helps navigate in social situations. my personal reflection is that prom is a great way to get to know others from a different school and make new friends.
My boyfriend making me super was fantastic and I am so proud of him. I had managed to complete most of my prom place except for making it to my boyfriends trap meet. Advice I would give to the people going to prom next year is "Make sure you bring extra shoes and wear deodorant. Just have some fun."
