A place that matters to me: Boulder Park
A Community park in Nora Springs
Boulder Park in Nora Springs, Iowa, is a space where the community comes together to enjoy nature, gather for events, and create memories. The park, centered around a massive granite boulder left by glaciers, represents both the town’s history and its vibrant present.
A Historical Site
The park's iconic boulder, known as a glacial erratic, was deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago. Over time, Boulder Park has become a focal point in the town, hosting annual events like Buffalo Days.
My Personal Connection
I’ve spent countless days enjoying Boulder Park, whether climbing the boulder when i was younger or working at the games on Buffalo Days. Boulder Park offers both relaxation and opportunities to engage with the town's social life.
Local Community
