Are You Moving?
As we prepare for the 2025–2026 school year, we are asking for your help in confirming your student’s enrollment plans. Accurate enrollment counts are essential for PUSD to plan staffing, programs, and resources across all schools.
We understand some families may be moving out of Pleasanton. If that applies to you, please know how much we have valued your continued presence in our community. Therefore, if you plan to move, please follow the directions below, AND please know there is an option to apply for an interdistrict transfer if you want your student to stay in PUSD.
Please complete this withdrawal form and email it to hshore@pleasantonusd.net or drop it off in the office.
Please don't forget to call the attendance line if your student is absent. 925-417-8097
Open House is scheduled for Thursday, May 15th from 6:00 - 7:00 . It is a wonderful time to visit your classroom and see all the hard work our students have been working on.
Pants and Shorts Needed
The health office needs elastic waist pants and shorts. Accidents happen, and we try to have a selection of spare clothes available. Please consider donating any pants or shorts your child may have outgrown. You can drop them off in the front office. Anything size 4T - 14/16 with an elastic waistband would be appreciated. Thank you!
KINDERGARTEN PARENT/GUARDIAN
Oral Health Exam forms are due by May 31, 2025, for Kindergarten students only. Please drop them off at the office or email them to:
cfurtado@pleasantonusd.net
Thank you!
Summer Family Fun
Summer is a great time to reconnect as a family. With a less hectic schedule and long summer days, there is more time for family fun and even, learning something new. Summer is also a great time to reinforce what teachers have taught your child throughout the year. Reading and math are the two of the most common skills to slide during summer months. There are plenty of online math games and free worksheets available by grade and skill level to choose from. Reading just 15-20 min a day can enhance a child's vocabulary, improve reading comprehension, and build a love for learning. Reading can also be a calming activity that can become part of your child's bedtime routine. Chores are another great thing to implement during the summer months. Giving children chores can help them build independence, confidence and a feeling of accomplishment. All important for healthy child development. Need help coming up with easy family fun days? Here are a few ideas that can help recharge your family battery.

Go Swimming - Check out the Aquatic Center
Visit the Farmers Market - Check out local farmers markets around the area and encourage your child to cook, bake, or prepare something with something they find. Cooking is a lifelong skill and you are never too young or old to learn.
Concerts in the Park - A fun way to spend an evening as a family is listening to music in the park. It's a great way to take advantage of the summer weather and beautiful parks Pleasanton has to offer. Checkout their schedule in the link above and end the night with a treat at Meadowlark Dairy. Summer fun at it's best!
