At this time of year, there are many grade level field trips and end of year classroom activities
so please be certain to check any emails or notes from your teacher for specific times .
OPEN HOUSE
Open House is scheduled for Thursday, May 18th from 6:00 - 7:15 . It is a wonderful time to visit your classroom and see all the hard work our students have been working on.
Wheelchair Foundation
The Vintage Hills Community raised over $1900 for the Wheelchair Foundation. Thank you all so much for your support and your compassion for those with disabilities! You are truly amazing!
INDEPENDENT STUDY
Per PUSD policy, there are NO independent study agreements issued the last (20) school days of the year. PUSD will not approve any independent study requests during the last 20 days. Existing policies related to assigments and grading will be upheld for excused and unexcused absences if taken during the final 20 days of the school year. If your child is absent the last twenty days, we cannot guarantee your child will return to the same school the following school year.

Are you moving or leaving PUSD at the end of the school year. To help with planning for next year, please let us know. Please complete this withdrawal form and email it to sroloff@pleasantonusd.net or drop it off in the office.
Evening of Black Excellence on May 19th
The African-American Family Network is hosting our annual end-of-year celebration on Friday, May 19th, 2023 at Fairlands Elementary from 5:30 - 7:30. This event is a celebration of our African-American students and families. We look forward to dinner, community, and celebrating our 8th graders and seniors.
ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIR STUDENT TICKETS
The Alameda County Fair would once again like to offer us free tickets for our K-6 students. If you are interested in receiving a free ticket for your students, you must go online and order the tickets ahead of time by June 15, 2023. Please use this link/flyer to order a free ticket for your student. The tickets are first come, first serve basis. These are for student tickets only.

HEALTH OFFICE NEWS
The health office is in need of elastic pants and shorts. Accidents happen and and try to have a selection of spare clothes available. Please consider donating any pants or shorts your child may have outgrown. You can drop them off in the front office. Anything size 4T - 14/16 with an elastic waistband would be appreciated. Thank you
KINDERGARTEN PARENT/GUARDIAN
Oral Health Exam forms are due by May 31, 2023 for Kindergarten students only. Please drop them off at the Office or email them to:
